Most modern browsers block audio until you've interacted with the page. If you opened the audience screen and walked away, the first sound effect won't play.
Fix: Tap or click anywhere on the audience screen once. Audio should now play normally.
Fix:
- Volume up on the device running the audience screen
- Mute is OFF (look for the icon)
- On a TV: TV volume up, correct input source
- On a Fire Stick: TV volume up, Fire Stick output set correctly
- Plugged into a PA: mixer levels up, correct channel
In Bingo, the Audio Source setting decides which device plays numbers. If set to "Audience" but you don't have the audience screen open, you'll hear nothing. If set to "Off", nothing plays anywhere by design.
Fix: Change Audio Source. See Bingo audio settings for the full breakdown.
Custom music plays through the host device only, not the audience screen. If the host device is on silent or unplugged from the PA, no one will hear the round.
Fix: Volume up on host device. Plug it into venue PA, or hold near a speaker.
Cause: Bingo Audio Source is set to "Both" and your host device and audience screen are physically close.
Fix: Switch Audio Source to either "Host" or "Audience" (whichever is plugged into the better speaker).
Music Bingo is clue-based by design - the host reads clues, players guess songs. No audio plays through the software for Music Bingo.
If you want songs to actually play, run a Quiz with a custom Music Round instead.
